Female LAFD Chief Makes Woke Post, Refuses to Help Men During Raging Wildfires
At the center of this firestorm stands LAFD Assistant Chief Kristine Larson, who pulls in a staggering $399,000 annual salary to lead the department’s first-ever DEI bureau. While fire hydrants run dry and neighborhoods burn, Larson’s most notable contribution appears to be her shocking statement about rescuing men.
FATSO ON THE RIGHT WON’T BE PULLING ANY MEN OUTTA FIRES!
FATSO heads the Equity and Human Rights Bureau: She… addressed concerns that female firefighters may not be strong enough to carry a man out of a burning building, to which she simply responded: 'He got himself in the wrong place if I have to carry him out of a fire.' 'You want to see someone that responds to your house, to your emergency - whether it's a medical call or a fire call - that looks like you,'… 'It gives that person a little bit more ease, knowing that somebody might understand their situation better.'
A viral video with comments from a Los Angeles Fire Department assistant chief has angered many in the wake of the devastating wildfires destroying southern California.
The video shows assistant chief Kristine Larson explain why it is important to have minority members of the fire department, and then she appears to defensively mock fire victims. Larson was lauded as the first black woman to be hired on as an LAFD chief.
'This is actually appalling. This is a public servant?'
"You want to see somebody that responds to your house, your emergency, whether it's a medical call or a fire call, that looks like you," said Larson in the video. "It gives that person a little bit more ease knowing that somebody might understand their situation better."
She went on to address criticism that some women may not meet the strength standards needed to fulfill the requirements of the job.
"'Is she strong enough to do this?'" she said in the voice of critics. "'You couldn't carry my husband out of a fire.'"
"Which my response is, 'He got himself in the wrong place if I have to carry him out of a fire.'"
In 2019, the LA Department of Water and Power (LADWP) began replacing nearly 100-year-old power line poles cutting through Topanga State Park, when the project was halted within days by conservationists outraged that federally endangered Braunton’s milkvetch plants had been trampled during the process.
The goal of the project was to improve fire safety for the Pacific Palisades area by replacing the wooden poles with steel, widening fire-access lanes in the area, and installing wind- and fire-resistant power lines — all after the area was identified as having an “elevated fire risk,” according to the LA Times.
“This project will help ensure power reliability and safety, while helping reduce wildfire threats,” the LADWP said at the time. “These wooden poles were installed between 1933 and 1955 and are now past their useful service life.”
But, after an amateur botanist hiking through the park during the work saw the harm done to some of the park’s Braunton’s milkvetch — a flowering shrub with only a few thousand specimens remaining in the wild — and complained, the project was completely halted, Courthouse News Service reported.
Instead of fire-hardening the park, the city — which the state said had undertaken the work without proper permitting — ended up paying $2 million in fines and was ordered by the California Coastal Commission to reverse the whole project and replant the rare herb.
That work saved about 200 Braunton’s milkvetch plants — almost all of which have now likely been torched in the wildfires that consumed Topanga Canyon, along with nearly 24,000 acres (37 square miles) of some of LA’s most sought-after real estate.
And yet, California Democrats flushed annual water flow into the ocean to save this little fish that they can’t even find in its natural habitat.

Weary Los Angeles locals have finally learned when they can return to their homes to inspect the damage caused by the city's worst fires in history.
Officials will begin reopening fire-ravaged neighborhoods to residents as of Thursday, after a red flag weather warning gripping Los Angeles for the next 72 hours eases.
It comes as burglars dressed as firefighters are among the thieves arrested as lawlessness in the city spirals during curfews and mandatory evacuation orders.
Looting is now running rampant as the flames continue to destroy homes across the City of Angels. Los Angeles County Sheriff Robert Luna said the burglars claimed to be associated with a fire station, but a check with the department weeded them out.

Newsom suspends environmental rules to expedite LA rebuilding.
In the wake of the devastating wildfires that have ravaged Los Angeles County, Governor Gavin Newsom has unveiled an ambitious initiative dubbed the “Reimagining LA 2.0” to reconstruct the city.
This plan, which he refers to as “reimagining LA 2.0,” aims to rebuild the city with a focus on modernization and resilience, particularly in anticipation of the 2028 Olympics and the 2026 FIFA World Cup.
Gavin Newsom decided to take his PR campaign to national television on Sunday, and the results were a major disaster with notable word salads, wild gestures, and more.

Embers
from 6 day old fire, caused by NYE fireworks.
Faults along the Los Angeles power grid alarmingly soared in the same areas where major wildfires raged this week, sparking a new theory that they may have caused the devastating crisis.
Bob Marshall, the chief executive of Whisker Labs, a company that monitors electrical activity, told Fox News that the firm saw spikes in faults in the hours before the Eaton, Palisades and Hurst Fires.
Marshall said data shows the power was not immediately shut off after the faults surged, and may have been caused by 'tree limbs touching wires or wires blowing in the wind and touching.'
'That creates a spark in a fault, and we detect all of those things,' Marshall said. Faulty electrical equipment, a sudden surge in electrical demand or earthquake tremors are also possible causes of the surges.
In the worst-hit Pacific Palisades area, there were 63 faults in the two-to-three hours before it ignited, with 18 coming in the hour before it started Tuesday.
Billionaire Power Couples Control of Californias Water Amid Wildfire Crisis
As wildfires rage across Los Angeles and beyond, Governor Gavin Newsom and Mayor Karen Bass face mounting criticism for their mismanagement and lack of preparation.
Public outrage intensified upon revelations that some fire hydrants were dry, leaving firefighters scrambling to combat the blazes. While leadership failures are under scrutiny, this report delves into another pressing issue exacerbating California’s vulnerability: how billionaires Stewart and Lynda Resnick quietly seized control of a significant portion of the state’s water supply, turning a public resource into private profit.
In 1994, a private closed-door meeting at a Monterey Bay resort changed the course of California’s water future. State water officials, infrastructure contractors, and agricultural landowners convened to rewrite California’s water laws without public input. This gathering led to the Monterey Amendments, stripping urban areas of their priority access to water during droughts and transferring public water assets to private entities. Among the beneficiaries were Stewart and Lynda Resnick, who acquired a controlling stake in the Kern Water Bank—a critical water storage facility built with taxpayer money.

LA County cut fire budget while spending heavily on…
January 12, 2025
Woke items: ‘Midnight Stroll Transgender Cafe’
First, the LA fire department’s budget actually increased by more than 7% compared to the previous fiscal year:
Second, LA county has a budget of $49.2 billion for the 2024-2025 fiscal year (source). The amount allocated to the Gay Men’s Chorus of Los Angeles ($14,010), for instance, represents less than 0.000029% of the total budget. For perspective, that costs your average LA resident less than a fifth of a cent per year. I doubt that this money would have had any meaningful impact on the fire department’s ability to fight wildfires.

Could There Be A Reason Why Los Angeles Is Burning That Nobody Really Wants To Talk About?
January 12, 2025
There is so much anger about the unprecedented fires that are ravaging the Los Angeles area, because there is a widespread belief that they could have been prevented. Some are blaming mismanaged forests, some are blaming the extreme incompetence of our leaders, some are blaming “climate change”, and some are blaming budget cuts. But could it be possible that the real reason why Los Angeles is burning is not related to any of those factors?
What is the one thing that sets Los Angeles apart from any other city in the world?
Needless to say, it is the entertainment industry.
Los Angeles is known as the entertainment capital of the world, and the entertainment that it produces has an enormous amount of global influence.
In fact, L.A. has more on an impact on the culture of the world than any other city by a wide margin.
The entire planet has been corrupted by the movies, television shows and music that comes out of Los Angeles. On top of all that, L.A. is the epicenter for the global pornography industry…
It is estimated that 200 firms, 6000 workers and 1200 actors produce 4000-7000 adult films a year in Los Angeles. Yes, there are more porn-related, adult industry jobs than software jobs in this town.
With $4.3 billion in sales and rentals (which is still nothing compared to the $12 Billion made from toys and books), the Adult Entertainment Industry puts $4 billion in revenue back into the local economy.
“It’s in an industry producing a product and it takes a lot of people to get it on the shelves or wherever people buy it,” explained Jack Kyser of the Los Angeles County Economic Development Corporation (LAEDC) at last night’s Zócalo public forum on the porn industry at the Hammer Museum. Often referred to as the “guru of the Los Angeles economy,” Kyser explained that for every direct worker in the industry, there is one other person in the county that it employs indirectly (think plastic DVD case makers or delivery trucks).
Most people living in the western world consume entertainment that originates from Los Angeles almost every single day.

Two men are said to have been caught on camera dumping gasoline and setting it alight immediately before the devastating Palisades fire broke out, DailyMail.com has learned exclusively.
A resident of the ritzy celeb-packed area reported the video to a senior firefighter once the flames had started consuming the area.
'By then we were too busy,' the firefighter told DailyMail.com. 'We told him to take the video to the police.'
But what happened to the footage remains a mystery as cops have not confirmed that the uncontrollable blaze, which has caused damage in the billions of dollars, was set deliberately.
News of the video comes amid growing suspicions of arson or foul play after one person was arrested for allegedly starting another blaze, the Kenneth Fire, on Thursday, police said. The man has not been charged.
Bizarre: Somehow Henry Winkler Was Ahead of the LA Fire Dept. When It Came to Potential Fire Cause
by Randy DeSoto, The Western Journal Jan. 11, 2025
Actor Henry Winkler alleged an arsonist is behind the outbreak of multiple wildfires in the Los Angeles area since Tuesday.
Cal Fire reported as of Friday morning that there are five major wildfires they are battling in the L.A. area.
It all began Tuesday morning when the Palisades Fire broke out, followed by the Eaton and Hurst Fires later that same day. Then came the Lidia Fire on Wednesday, and the Kenneth Fire on Thursday.
On Wednesday night, Winkler posted on X, “THERE IS an ARSONIST here in LA . May you be beaten you unrecognizable !!! The pain you have caused !!!”

THAT FUCKIN ASSHOLE EARNS NEARLY TWICE THE AMOUNT IN SALARY AS HER PREDECESSOR, OVER $700,000 ANNUALLY, AND THAT FUCKIN BITCH COULDN’T EVEN KEEP WATER IN THE PIPES!
The $750,000-a-year LA water czar is responsible for a raft of failures that contributed to the devastating Palisades Fire, fire department insiders told DailyMail.com.
On Mayor Karen Bass's orders, the city maxed out its budget to 'attract private-sector talent', hiring Department of Water and Power (LADWP) CEO Janisse Quiñones on a $750,000 salary in May – almost double that of her predecessor.
Now, Quiñones is being blamed by LA Fire Department (LAFD) insiders for leaving a nearby reservoir disconnected and fire hydrants broken for months, DailyMail.com can reveal, leading to firefighters running out of water as they battled the devastating Palisades Fire this week.
And, Daily Mail.com has learned, Quiñones past employer is also linked to fire scandals. She was previously a top executive at electricity company PG&E, which went bankrupt over liability for several massive wildfires in California.

California Governor Gavin Newsom asked President Joe Biden during a video conference call on Friday afternoon to combat criticism over his disastrous response to the wildfires that erupted this week.
Gavin Newsom cut fire budget by $100m last year while giving more water to tiny tribal fish
Trump's call for Newsom to resign comes as the president-elect pointed to Newsom's focus on 'delta smelt', a three-inch fish native to the Sacramento–San Joaquin River Delta in California.
On his social media platform Truth Social, Trump argues that Governor Gavin Newsom's smelt conservation efforts have stopped water from being delivered to farmers and major cities.
The water system used by the state to fight the wildfires - that have so far burned over 10,000 buildings and killed at least 10 people - struggled and in some places failed under the strain.
The demand for water was so high that it wasn't enough to refill the tanks in hilly Pacific Palisades that help pressurize hydrants for the neighborhood.
Trump blasted the Democratic Governor on social media and specifically targeted the smelt - the fish which the pair have traded barbs over since Trump's first term.
45K sign petition demanding LA Mayor Karen Bass resign over fire response
A Change.org petition demanding the resignation of Los Angeles Mayor Karen Bass has surpassed 45,000 signatures as wildfires continue to devastate Southern California.
Started by a user identified as "Frustrated Californian," the petition accuses Bass of "gross mismanagement" and a lack of leadership during the crisis.
The petition points to Bass' diplomatic trip to Ghana, which left her out of the country when the fires erupted. It also criticizes the city’s preparation and resource allocation, including water shortages and underfunding of emergency services.
"Families have been displaced, homes destroyed, and livelihoods shattered—yet Mayor Bass has been absent from the front lines," the petition reads.
Webmaster Addition: Bass has said the only reason people want her to resign is that she is a black woman!
